This is particularly great if you have a good connection and want to see the channel's coverage of a particular event. You can easily start the live streaming by tapping on the 'Live' button at the top right of the screen.
If you have the time to view the hourly headlines, the app also has a 'Headlines' feature. This basically has the recordings of the main bulletin and you can watch these bulletins after they have been delivered in real time. You will have to first tap on the tap on the 'menu' button at the top left of the screen and then select 'Headlines' to use this feature.

Geo TV app also has a 'Videos' section in its menu. There are two kinds of videos available i.e. 'Geo Reports' and 'Shows'. The 'Geo Reports' is slightly different from 'Headlines' as it features the main reports that were aired during the day. While the app downloads a preview of these videos, it streams them when you try to open one. This is good as this means that the app doesn't pre-download any report on its own. The problem lies with the 'Shows' option. The purpose of the feature is to allow the Geo TV app user to watch all the analysis and interview programs aired regularly on the TV channel. However, when it is tried to watch any of the programs, the app tries to download the preview of the different episodes of the TV show. However, it takes a lot of time and then ends up doing nothing. This is a big glitch as it doesn't allow the app user to watch the program after it has been aired. If this glitch is resolved, the app would become even better and offer its users the whole news media channel vibe with its app.
